How do I process a sale or complete a transaction?

Again, here are the steps to complete a sale:

  1. Either through the chat feature or text, first get them to send you their Wallet Number. The number starts with ‘WN’ and can be found under ‘My Wallet’ in their profile and is displayed on their electronic card right under their BITS balance. See what we’re talking about here.

  2. Now go to your wallet and click, ‘Process Sale’ and follow the prompts.

  3. As you can see, it will ask for their wallet number. Type the wallet number they, the buyer, provides there.

  4. Now look at the Username that shows up on the screen and make sure that username is the right person doing the barter deal with you.

  5. Type in the BITS amount.

  6. Type in a Description of the item or service you are offering. This is optional.

  7. Now click ‘Request BITS™’. This is a request because, the buyer has to approve the transfer of BITS to your wallet.

  8. You will now see under ‘Barter Activity’ on the next screen that your sale is now Pending. The buyer will instantly receive a notification telling them that you are requesting the BITS™ from them and they can either approve it or not approve it.

  9. Once they approve it, you will see under your Barter Activity that it changes from Pending to being in your wallet and your balance has now increased. You can click on that transaction and it will take you to another screen that says ‘Transaction Details’ that shows all the details of the transaction you just completed.
